Location: Scranton/Allentown, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Summary

Perform diagnosis and repairs of vehicle components independently, with experience as a B Class or higher general service technician.

Essential Duties

1. Work at customer sites.
2. Perform repairs accurately and efficiently per standards.
3. Handle major component repairs and overhauls.
4. Diagnose vehicle issues based on customer complaints and inspections.
5. Perform electrical and A/C system repairs.
6. Communicate with the service and parts departments effectively.
7. Manage warranty parts and documentation.
8. Assess vehicles for safety or additional repairs.
9. Coordinate with service advisors on additional work and warranty approvals.
10. Maintain productivity and efficiency standards.
11. Conduct inventory and vehicle road tests.
12. Assist team members and participate in training programs.
13. Ensure vehicle cleanliness and shop organization.
14. Maintain dealership tools and comply with safety regulations.
15. Complete OEM and online training with a 90% pass rate.
16. Promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum five years’ experience or equivalent education, with proficiency in engine, driveline, electrical, and A/C repairs. Must possess a comprehensive set of hand tools.

• ASE Certifications
• Drive Train Certification (Medium/Heavy Truck)
• HVAC Certification (Medium/Heavy Truck)
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification (Class 7)
• CDL Class B or above
• Valid Driver’s License
• MX Engine Certified
• Cummins MD and HD Certification

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally, with the ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform physical tasks as described.
