Job Details

Title: Desktop Support/Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician.

Location: Richmond, VA. We hire for many locations in the US.

Type of Job: Long term Contract/Contract to permanent

Responsibilities

• Drive to various customer locations from the pickup parts location specified in the job.
• Visit business offices and residences to repair/troubleshoot/break-fix computers/desktops/laptops/printers.
• Use your own car to travel to provide service to customers.
• Work primarily with Dell products (previous experience is a plus).
• Travel within a radius of 50 to 70 miles from the pickup parts location.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style.
• Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (around 300 miles per week).

Qualifications

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training/expired status is also accepted).
• Dell or any product manufacture certification is a plus.
• Good experience working on laptops and desktops is mandatory.
• Good experience with break/fix is required.

Important Points

• Upon offer, you will undergo a background check and driving record check.
• You need to take the Dell certifications training (online) and complete the certifications – free.
• You have to be ready for a contract agreement with the terms and conditions of the company.
• Pay will be biweekly for hours approved.
• Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Plan for a backup vehicle in case your car breaks down.
