Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Richmond, VA seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers and chemical dispensing equipment for a diverse client base including healthcare and hospitality.

You will work Monday–Friday 7AM–6PM with overtime flexibility and opportunities for advancement. Comprehensive benefits include a company van, tools, training and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service or equipment repair experience.
• Mechanical aptitude including electrical, plumbing, and sanitation codes.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record; must pass MVR.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, perform preventive maintenance, and repair coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical-dispensing equipment.
• Serve a diverse customer base including national accounts, healthcare, campuses, hospitality.

What you will do:

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When you will work:

Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service. Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited

Position requirements:

• Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes.
• Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score)
