Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Service Technician to install, maintain, and service coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing equipment for diverse customers, including national accounts and healthcare facilities.

The role covers the West Cleveland area; candidates should reside within the service territory and be prepared for a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime. This is a field-based position requiring physical work and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior customer service or equipment repair experience, or equivalent education/training.
• Mechanical aptitude: interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record; MVR will be run.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pass drug screen, MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, colleges and hospitality.

Position Summary:

Field Service professional, tasked with providing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and customer relations.

What you will do:

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When you will work:

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited

Position requirements:

• Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check - we do not check your credit score)
