Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, preventive maintenance and repair of beverage and commercial kitchen equipment for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, education, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

The role requires 2 years of customer service or equipment repair experience, good mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in customer service or equipment repair
• Mechanical aptitude including interpretation of manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of machines
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass drug screen
• Clean driving record and MVR check

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain beverage and food-service equipment for national accounts, healthcare, colleges/universities, hospitality and large operators.
• Provide preventive maintenance and performance measures for machines.

***This route is centrally around Omaha, NE to the far West of NE and to the South Western part of IA. The ideal candidate resides within the service territory***

What you will do

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When you will work

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited

Position requirements

• Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check - we do not check your credit score)
