Job description

We are looking for a Field Service Technician based out of our Portland, OR branch.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a few years of technician experience.

What you'll be doing...

As a Field Service Technician, you'll provide onsite repair and installation of dental equipment, creating an exceptional client experience. Your relationship-building and communication skills are key. We support your career development through training, online classes, and manufacturer courses.

• Provide an exceptional client experience through timely repairs and installations.
• Support profitability by completing service orders efficiently and reviewing work with clients.
• Perform repairs that keep offices operational, educating staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Lead installation teams, ensure on-time project completion, and finalize punch-lists.
• Work safely, using proper PPE, reporting hazards, and following safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Follow policies on fleet management, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain van inventory and tools, demonstrating organization.
• Attend trainings, seek assistance proactively, and demonstrate competency in professional development.

What you'll need...

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• At least 3 years of technician experience with various equipment.
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 50% out of town.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, insurable status.

Preferred:

• Vocational or military technical training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Project lead experience.
• Dental industry experience.

Salary Info:

• Hourly range: $27.85 to $31.25, with bonuses and profit sharing.
