Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join its growing technical service team. The role involves hands-on work with advanced automation equipment across multiple manufacturing industries, with a focus on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Qualified candidates have 2–5 years in field service, an associate degree or technical certification in mechatronics or related field, and strong communication skills. Travel is required for customer sites and independent work.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation within a manufacturing or automation environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC controls, robotics, and automation systems preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work independently in a customer-facing role.
