Motion Recruitment is assisting a client in locating a Field Service Technician for a 2-month assignment in Queens, NY 11106. The role focuses on on-site hardware support for restaurant technology, including POS systems and peripherals.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of field dispatch repair experience, solid customer service skills, and a valid driver's license. Evening hours and on-call rotation may be required, with potential for future opportunities.

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing POS or computer hardware systems preferred.

• Perform light contractor work such as drilling, mounting hardware, and running cabling as needed to complete installations or repairs.
• Train restaurant employees for proper use of supported systems and equipment.

• Recommend appropriate products, services, or solutions based on customer needs.
• Apply working knowledge of kitchen operations and backend workflows to ensure seamless technology integration.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines while working with minimal to no supervision.
• Report to a Team Lead or Field Services Manager.
