Job summary

REMEDI8 is seeking Field Service Technicians specializing in firestop systems for healthcare and commercial facilities. You will inspect, install, and repair firestop and smoke-stop systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. This is a field-based role with significant travel.

The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced with fire caulking and drywall repair, and comfortable with extensive travel. Travel up to 75% of the time is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of firestop inspection, repair or installation.
• Experience with commercial drywall repair and wall assemblies.
• Fire caulking or sealant application experience.
• Working knowledge of Life Safety Plans and NFPA standards.
• Comfort using tablets, iOS devices, and electronic reporting systems.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

REMEDI8 is seeking Field Service Technicians specializing in firestop systems for healthcare and commercial facilities. These technicians will inspect, install, and repair firestop and smoke-stop systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced with fire caulking and drywall repair, and comfortable with extensive travel. This is a field-based role with significant travel and hands‑on work in demanding environments.

What You’ll Need

• 1+ year experience in firestop inspection, repair, or installation
• Experience with commercial drywall repair and wall assemblies
• Fire caulking or sealant application experience
• Working knowledge of Life Safety Plans and NFPA standards
• Comfort using tablets, iOS devices, and electronic reporting systems
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and reach regularly
• Ability to climb ladders and work above ceiling spaces
• Ability to work in confined spaces and containment units
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Ability to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends, or modified schedules
