Job summary

UniFide CST is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair weighing equipment across the Madison area. The role involves hands-on mobile support, diagnosing issues, performing calibrations, and building lasting customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have experience in maintenance, automotive repair, or electronics, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and PC software).
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, and work with equipment safely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and complete required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install and service retail, industrial, and heavy-capacity scales and weighing systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Complete service documentation and customer reports.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and calibration weights.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the region.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing UniFide CST.

The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, providing hands-on mobile support and expertise to businesses in the Madison and surrounding area. From diagnosing and resolving technical issues to installation and calibration, conducting preventive maintenance, and building lasting customer relationships, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our continued success.

What A Day In The Life Looks Like
