Job summary

UniFide CST in Madison is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair weighing equipment across the region. You will travel to customer sites to diagnose issues, perform calibrations, and provide hands-on maintenance for retail and industrial scales.

The role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a valid driver's license, and strong communication for customer service.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and PC software).
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, and work with equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and service retail, industrial, and heavy-capacity scales and weighing systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations.

• Complete service documentation and customer reports.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and calibration weights.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the region.

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, providing hands-on mobile support and expertise to businesses in the Madison and surrounding area. From diagnosing and resolving technical issues to installation and calibration, conducting preventive maintenance, and building lasting customer relationships, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our continued success.

What A Day In The Life Looks Like:
