Job summary

Linde plc in Martinsburg, WV, is seeking a field operations technician to ensure safe, reliable oxygen producing plants at customer sites. You will perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting with a focus on safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–5 years in air separation or related control environments, and strong skills in instrumentation, controls, and communication with customers. Travel and extended hours may be required.

• Youwill ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Oxygen producingplants at customer sites ensuring safe and efficient plant operation
• Solve field site issues while maintaining andoperating air separation plants with minimal supervision solving field siteissues
• Interact with customers across various production plant types,providing guidance, support, and clear communication interacting withcustomers
• Additionally maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at eachplant location to uphold Linde’s high standards maintaining safety andcompliance
• Furthermore perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors,gas analyzers, and control systems performing equipment maintenance
• Manage time effectively to complete operations andmaintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing plant problemsmanaging operations and troubleshooting
• Also, coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities,audits, and administrative requirements while driving efficiency throughstrategic planning and project management coordinating contractors andresources

What makes you great

• You Will hold a High School Diploma, with an Associate Degree in a technical field preferred, along with two to five years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments
• Have expertise in instrumentation, controls, and general maintenance of industrial equipment
• Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors, with military engineering experience highly regarded
• Maintain strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures when troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment
• Moreover, understand process control schematics and communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Be proficient with computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights.
• You are available to work extended hours when business needs arise
• Demonstrate flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call-in coverage
  Maintain a reliable and safety-focused presence during critical operational periods
• Be familiar with procurement processes and quality control analyzers, while thriving in dynamic working conditions that include driving service trucks, office work, and physical activity
