Job summary

Linde plc in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a Site Service Supervisor to lead safe, efficient gas delivery and purification system support. You will supervise site service technicians, train staff, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in gas production and instrumentation, a BS in science or engineering, and hands-on expertise with control systems, PLCs, and CAD/P&IDs.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in gas production and delivery, instrumentation and controls, and engineering documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial control, instrumentation, and electrical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot 4–20mA transmitters, electro-pneumatic control loops, and industrial control components
  • Knowledge of regulatory, industry standards, and applicable codes
  • Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and man lifts
  • Experience with HMI and control software, including Wonderware and Rockwell platforms
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create P&IDs, electrical drawings, and other engineering documentation

Responsibilities

  • Lead safe, efficient, and cost-effective site service operations supporting high-purity gas delivery and purification systems
  • Supervise, train, and support Site Service Technicians while maintaining a high-performing, safety-focused team
  • Prepare project estimates, manage project execution, and ensure activities remain on schedule and within budget
  • Install, maintain, repair, commission, and troubleshoot gas delivery, storage, purification, analytical, and control systems
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas delivery systems, industrial instruments, analyzers, PLC systems, electrical equipment (>600V), and process controls
  • Read, maintain, and update P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and project documentation in compliance with SOP, QA, and MOC requirements
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, material procurement, contractor oversight, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Develop and implement projects that improve equipment reliability, availability, and process performance
  • Maintain customer relationships, complete required site compliance training, and represent the company professionally
  • Participate in safety programs, report incidents and near misses, and comply with lone worker requirements
  • Utilize CMMS to manage, document, and improve preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Analyze equipment and process data, maintain spare parts inventory, and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Maintain communication with management, follow work instructions, and complete required training and performance goals
  • Perform both office and field work, including access to elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, and man-lifts
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills
