Position Title:

Field Service Technician

Wage:

$47,840-$54,080 per year

Shift:

1st

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system repairs on company machinery and equipment in the field at job sites.
• Operate equipped service truck with OE level diagnostic software.
• Assist other mechanics in support roles at the shop when needed.
• Perform all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in diesel or automotive technology, and
• 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision, troubleshoot, and take initiative.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Flexibility regarding work assignments and willingness to perform support duties during non-busy times.
• Ability to understand and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Ability to handle problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
