Job summary

Axion Recruitment seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to support a leading processing and packaging equipment manufacturer across North America. Based within travel distance of Philadelphia, PA, you will install, commission and service automated equipment while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults, perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or related field.
• 3+ years field service or industrial maintenance experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States with some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults

We're recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician to join a leading machine manufacturer supporting customers across North America.

This is a travel-based role installing, commissioning and servicing automated processing and packaging equipment while providing hands-on technical support and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

• Install, commission and start up processing and packaging equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
• Troubleshoot automated machinery at customer facilities
• Train operators on equipment operation and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Associate Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field
• 3+ years' field service or industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on automated manufacturing, processing or packaging equipment
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States with occasional international travel
