Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to serve customers with on-site and remote support within our territory. You will troubleshoot and repair a range of compression equipment, while maintaining high safety and service standards.

You will coordinate closely with the Service Manager, complete all required forms, and participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule. A valid driver's license and 3 years of field experience are required. Training and company benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• 3 years of technician experience is required.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• Customer-focused and takes ownership of customer needs.
• Ability to supply basic required tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer equipment pad and surrounding areas.
• Communicate with the customer and Service Manager about services performed and repair options.
• Complete all work orders, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool as scheduled.

Your role

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service area. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As aField Service Technician, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager.

• You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
• You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs
• You will completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
• You will train and assist other Service Technicians
• You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment
• You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed
• You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager

• Salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience: $55,000-75,000 annually.

Job location

You will be remote with a dedicated territory, and report to our Covington, GA location. #LI-Remote
