Job description

We are looking for a dependable Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional customer service, improve customer satisfaction, maximize customer retention, and support profitability.

The purpose of this role is to diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform electronic and mechanical repairs, document service activities, and maintain strong customer relationships. This position requires technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical systems using effective methodologies.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of products and equipment.
  • Document and produce timely, detailed service reports.
  • Exceed company and customer requirements.
  • Respond effectively to customer needs and build positive relationships.
  • Ensure all tools and calibrated equipment are properly maintained.
  • Meet daily service needs at assigned sites and locations.
  • Plan and perform repairs and preventative maintenance independently in the field.
  • Schedule work based on field requirements.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to complete assigned field projects.
  • Technically savvy, innovative, and able to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong customer-service focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document detailed reports and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a changing schedule and environment.
  • Must pass required background, drug, physical, and credit checks.
  • Ability to safely perform the essential physical functions of the position.
  • Ability to meet required productivity and performance standards.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required airport/security credentials and clearances.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
  • Must have the required identification and passport for international travel.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card) required.
  • Ability to work overtime and variable hours based on business needs.
