Job summary

Stratwolf Talent is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service customer equipment nationwide. This 75% travel position involves traveling to customer facilities and performing diagnostics and repairs.

You will read schematics, use test equipment, and train customers on operation and maintenance while providing strong technical support. Overtime is available and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent hands-on experience with electrical/electronic equipment.
• Strong electronics troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Ability to use test equipment and read wiring diagrams/schematics.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic computer/networking skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, including air travel and short-notice assignments.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical/electronic issues using a systematic troubleshooting approach.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to identify and correct equipment problems.
• Replace failed components and verify equipment is fully operational following repairs.
• Provide technical support to customers by phone and in the field.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Complete required service documentation and paperwork.
