Job summary

IEM in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician Level III to lead advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, and repair of IEM equipment. This role requires working independently with limited supervision and serving as a senior technical resource for field service teams.

You will collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, engineering, and customers, analyze failures, and mentor Level I/II technicians while ensuring safety, documentation, and high-quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, technical, manufacturing, commissioning, or field service.
• Minimum of 2+ years in switchgear start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, or related field service.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and service documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install, inspect, and support electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities and escalated issues.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Document service activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Level I/II technicians.
