Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Technical Trainer to support onboarding and ongoing training for Field Service employees. The role focuses on delivering structured instruction in electrical systems, startup testing, troubleshooting, software tools, and safety practices, with hands-on demonstrations and assessments to validate readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating a 4-week new hire orientation, updating materials, and partnering with engineering, production, and Field Service leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical industry, field service, testing, commissioning, or related technical work.
• Experience with training, teaching, or facilitating employee learning is preferred.
• Ability to engage and support trainees with varying experience levels and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training for new and existing Field Service employees, including onboarding and ongoing development.
• Coordinate and facilitate the 4-week new hire orientation schedule for Field Service employees.
• Provide instruction in electrical systems, startup testing, troubleshooting, and related field service processes.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on sessions, with workshops, labs, and demonstrations.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
• Maintain training records and coordinate with leadership to identify training needs.
