Job summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation is seeking a Field Service Tech Trainee in Pittsburgh, PA. Train to install, calibrate, and repair precision measuring equipment at customer sites, with travel within 450 miles and occasional flights.

The program includes 3–6 months of training, after which advancement to Field Service Technician is expected. Earn a starting salary in the mid $60k range with a $700 monthly car allowance and gas reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required with practical hand skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting mindset.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and repair precision measuring equipment at customer sites.
• Travel up to 100% with up to 450 miles from home; occasional air travel.
• Participate in a 3–6 month training program and progress to Field Service Technician.
• Maintain documentation, schedules and service reports per SOP.
