Job summary

Heavy Machines Inc. is seeking a field technician to perform maintenance, repair, and rebuilding work at customers' sites.

The role requires safe, efficient execution and a strong customer-facing approach to maintain HMIE's service reputation. You will lead teams on assigned tasks, coordinate with the service manager and customer support, and travel among customers to share knowledge and identify training needs.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of math and general accounting procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have solid organizational skills and strong ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor Degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and rebuilding jobs at customers locations in a safe, efficient manner.
• Act as group leader when working in assigned area with a multi-person assignment.
• Establish and maintain communication links with service manager and customer support center.
• Establish routine travel pattern among assigned customers to monitor reaction and share knowledge.
• Involve in warranty work with knowledge of regional service manager and company policy.
• Provide thorough reports in a timely manner per reporting system.
• Utilize training methods to upgrade professional skills.
• Sell HMIE services to customers and participate in team-based support.
• Use customer contacts as ongoing training to improve customer operators.
