Job summary

GEA is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in the United States. The role involves traveling to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance, install and commission new machines, and train customers on operation and maintenance.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, communicate effectively with customers, and ensure high-quality service while representing GEA professionally. The position offers extensive travel, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package including

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
At least 5 years working with mechanical equipment.
Extensive travel up to 75%.
Able to work up to 12 hours at times.
Occasional weekend work may be required.
Must have a valid driver license.
Able to discuss technically complex issues with non-technical people.
Strong on-site organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance at customer sites and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Install, commission and train customers on new machines.
Travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time.
Communicate clearly with customers and ensure satisfaction.
Work professionally and represent GEA in the market.
