Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and measurements while collecting data and setting up/removing test equipment. The role requires knowledge of hazardous energy procedures and limited supervision.

You will co-lead projects with lead technicians, co-manage reports for client delivery, and maintain test equipment and cleanliness on site. Strong customer service and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have satisfactory background/MVR check.
• Must pass a pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and/or random drug test.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must wear PPE including arc-flash suit, safety glasses, hard hat, respirator, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test for de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment.
• Collect and record test data accurately.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
