Job summary

Tusco, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Craft Field Service Technician I or II to service barrier and perimeter security systems in Dallas or San Antonio, TX.

You’ll handle electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control issues in the field, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex equipment, and interact directly with customers. The role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and a willingness to travel across the region and the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or field service environments.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to travel up to 80–90% of the time and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service on vehicle barrier and perimeter security systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control issues.
• Repair motors, hydraulics, wiring, control boards, and mechanical assemblies.
• Maintain accurate service records and order replacement parts.
• Communicate with customers and provide onsite service.
• Work independently in the field and grow familiarity with multiple systems.
