Job summary

Infinitum is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair integrated motor and VFD products at customer sites. You will document activities, provide feedback to engineering, and build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on electrical experience, ability to travel up to 75%, and adherence to safety standards in dynamic job sites across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience commissioning and troubleshooting electrical circuits, 3 phase motors, EC motors, and VFDs in a Field Service environment.
• 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting HVAC-related controls (Carel, Automated Logic, PLCs, etc.) and communication protocols (Modbus RTU, BACnet, RS-485, Ethernet TCP/IP, etc.)
• Basic understanding of UL, NEC, and NFPA 70E standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time (US and occasionally Canada)
• Experience working in hot/non-climate-controlled environments
• Proficiency in safety standards such as LOTO, PPE, Fall Protection
• Ability to work on ladders, man lifts, scissor lifts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Infinitum's integrated motor and VFD products at customer sites
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and testing of Infinitum's integrated motor and VFD
• Conduct on-site repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Provide technical feedback to internal teams, including sales, product management, operations, and engineering
• Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction
• Document all troubleshooting and repair activities
• Provide detailed service reports that support department metrics
