Job summary

Envera Systems is a field service role focused on diagnosing and repairing physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance (analog and IP), and related low-voltage devices. The role requires on-site visits across Florida, with an on-call rotation and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in computer networking or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security systems, CCTV, access control, networking or related
• Strong electrical background and low-voltage system installation/maintenance experience
• Low-voltage expertise including relays, loops, inputs/outputs
• Hands-on experience with complex electronic security systems at customer sites
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing systems efficiently on-site
• Experience with IP-based product configuration (IP address, DNS, VPN)
• Familiar with card access and IP video platforms such as eMerge, SonicWall, iBoot, Avigilon, Digital Watchdog, Speco
• Skilled in video surveillance system and camera installations; experience with NVRs and video analytics
• Understanding of relay logic and cabling; familiar with electric lock hardware
• Strong Windows skills; able to navigate LANs in security installations
• Comfortable working with Fiber Optic and Cat5e cabling
• Able to learn manufacturer-specific software quickly
• Gate service experience is a plus
• Ability to read/write English, basic math and reporting to team

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair physical security systems onsite and restore full functionality
• Perform preventative maintenance under service contracts
• Troubleshoot issues remotely using designated software and internet access
• Travel daily to client sites throughout Florida
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation at least two weeks per month
• Research and resolve equipment issues with minimal oversight
• Support special projects and additional duties as assigned
• Provide technical assistance on related support issues as needed
• Address operational matters as directed by Service Coordinator or Manager
• Demonstrate organization and time management with minimal supervision
