Job summary

Envera Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician in Florida to diagnose and repair physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and related networks. Travel is required across Florida with on-site and remote support, plus on-call rotation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in security or networking, strong electrical skills, and experience with IP-based configurations and NVRs. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in computer networking or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security systems, CCTV, access control, or networking and programming.
• Strong electrical background with knowledge of low-voltage system installation, maintenance and service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair physical security systems onsite, ensuring timely restoration of full functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance per service contracts.
• Troubleshoot issues remotely using designated software and internet access.
• Travel daily to customer sites throughout Florida to support service needs.
• Participate in an on-call emergency service rotation at least two weeks per month.
• Independently research and resolve equipment issues with minimal oversight.
• Support special projects and complete additional duties as assigned.
• Provide technical assistance on related support issues as needed.
• Address operational matters as directed by the Service Coordinator or Manager.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills; work independently and with teams.
