Job summary

VIP Systems, a premier Florida systems integrator, seeks an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and commission commercial low-voltage systems while delivering exceptional service to customers. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of field experience with IP-based technologies, access control, and surveillance.

Florida driver’s license required; willingness to travel and work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial low-voltage systems.
• Proven experience independently troubleshooting and repairing integrated building technologies.
• Valid Florida driver's license with ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial low-voltage systems.
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, firmware updates, system backups, and operational testing.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, riser diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
