Job summary

Cooper Lighting Solutions, a Signify business unit, is seeking a Field Service Technician to service the Boston, MA area. You will travel to sites to commission lighting control systems, troubleshoot, verify installations, program systems, and train customers on operation and maintenance.

You may also gather project commissioning data, submit site visitation documentation, and provide backup phone support for the lighting product line. A technical background is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical field service
• High school diploma or vocational/technical degree in electrical, electronics, engineering, computer technology, or related; Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites to commission installed lighting control systems and perform troubleshooting, verification, system programming, and customer training.
• Assist in gathering data for project commissioning and documentation.
• Prepare and submit site visitation documentation to streamline continued support.
• Provide backup phone support for lighting product lines when not on site.
