Job summary

AMADA's Regional Office Service division seeks Area and Regional Service Managers to support installation and service of Laser Cutting Machines with and without Automation. Regular travel is required, with reporting and safety commitments emphasized.

The role demands mechanical and electrical knowledge, tool use, and strong customer relations with the ability to work independently and follow the chain of command.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and oscilloscope.
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
• Excellent relational skills with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of the installation.
• Follow up on any aspects outside the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.
• Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.
• Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.
• Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.).
• Regular travel.
• Provide feedback to the manager on machine and customer issues that require further action.
• Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment and safety program.

DEPARTMENT : Regional OfficeDIVISION: Service

To support customers with (but not limited to Laser Cutting Machines with and without Automation.This includes installation and service.Provides field service to ensure customer satisfaction.Take continuing education on new machines and technologies.Not exclusive to the same functions as other Amada machines.

• Complete all aspects of the installation:
• Follow up on any aspects outside of the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.
• Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.
• Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.
• Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.)
• Regular travel.
