Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing two-way radio equipment.
• Strong understanding of RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless communications equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz systems).
• Create and adjust codeplugs for multiple channels and zones.
• Travel regionally; on-call hours may be required; provide excellent customer service.

5+ years field service experience

RF theory knowledge

MS Office proficiency

Education

Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent

Tools

Test equipment (spectrum analyzers, watt meters, TDRs, FDRs, multimeters)

DAS/BDA system design tools

IP networking basics

Motorola Astro 25 training knowledge
