Job summary

Inframark MUDS Austin is seeking a Tech II to perform safe, high‑quality field work in field services—executing work orders, maintaining assets, and delivering responsive customer service in Austin, Texas.

Key responsibilities include completing service orders within SLAs, investigating usage issues, performing locates, using mobile apps, and supporting after‑hours rotations; strong safety and documentation are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years relevant field experience in Field Services operations within water/wastewater/public works.
• Strong safety mindset (confined space, trenching/MOT, PPE); clean driving record.
• CMMS/mobile work order proficiency and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete service orders (turn-on/off, rereads, meter tests) within SLAs; document results.
• Investigate high/low usage, no-reads, and tamper alarms; elevate anomalies.
• Perform utility locates/mark-outs and customer appointments professionally.
• Use mobile apps/handhelds for work orders and inventory; maintain vehicle and tools.
• Support emergency response and after-hours rotations as assigned.
• Work independently on routine tasks; request guidance on complex issues.
• Provide courteous customer and stakeholder communications at job sites.
