Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform safe, high‑quality field work, execute work orders, maintain assets, and deliver responsive customer service across our service areas.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in field services, a strong safety mindset, and CMMS proficiency; HS diploma required. This role includes on-site field work with occasional after hours responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years relevant field experience in Field Services operations within water/wastewater/public works.
• Strong safety mindset (confined space, trenching/MOT, PPE); clean driving record.
• CMMS/mobile work order proficiency and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete service orders (turn-on/off, rereads, meter tests) within SLAs; document results.
• Investigate high/low usage, no-reads, and tamper alarms; escalate anomalies.
• Perform utility locates/mark-outs and customer appointments professionally.
• Use mobile apps/handhelds for work orders and inventory; maintain vehicle and tools.
• Support emergency response and after-hours rotations as assigned.
• Work independently on routine tasks; request guidance on complex issues.
• Provide courteous customer and stakeholder communications at job sites.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Field‑based role with frequent driving, outdoor work in varied weather, and exposure to traffic, confined spaces, biological/chemical hazards, energized equipment, and uneven terrain. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb, kneel, and wear required PPE.
