Job summary

Hobart Service in Hooksett, NH is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for installation and servicing of commercial food equipment. The role requires on-call, after-hours, holidays and weekend on-site repair coverage to meet customer needs.

You will install, diagnose and repair equipment, interpret schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold Hobart Service safety standards while maintaining tools, parts and vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years electrical/mechanical experience.
• EPA HVACR certification desirable.
• HVACR vocational certificate.
• Associate degree or vocational certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and assists in more advanced installs as needed.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs basic mechanical commercial food equipment for customers on contract or T&M basis.
• Interprets and follows schematic diagrams.
• Demonstrates knowledge of sequence of operations for multiple operating modes.
• Completes and documents preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Implements and supports standard operating procedures in Hobart Service safety manuals.
• Supports branch/organization financial objectives by delivering quality customer experience.
