Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upgrade shipping and mailing equipment for clients in the Santa Rosa area. You will support hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, and train customers during installation.

The role requires travel within a multi-zip code territory, lifting up to 55 lbs, and extensive windshield time. A strong customer-service focus and a Safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• The ability to lift 55 lbs + with or without accommodation.
• The ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield time.
• The ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods of time.
• Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC and Networking (Preferred).
• Experience with automated equipment (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment for our clients.
• Support both Hardware and Software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment successfully with the goal of reducing Client callbacks.
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at the time of installation.
• Work in a 100% client facing capacity as a representative of Pitney Bowes.
• Cover a multi-zip code territory requiring significant windshield time.
• Utilize hand tools or small power tools to execute repairs, maintenance, and installations.
