Job summary

Seismos is seeking a highly organized Field Service Engineering Manager with an electrical engineering background to oversee field hardware deployments and lifecycle management of ruggedized sensors and data systems. The role bridges engineering, product, and on-site crews to minimize downtime and maximize real-time data streams for operators.

Responsibilities include asset management, logistics coordination, deployment leadership, vendor negotiation, and on-site troubleshooting across basins

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years managing technical operations or field deployments in energy/instrumentation sectors.
• Experience with asset management and logistics systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware procurement, configuration, calibration, and tracking of acoustic sensing units and field hardware.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for field instrumentation and spares.
• Lead deployment of new sensor hardware, firmware, and connectivity infrastructure across sites.
• Negotiate with hardware and connectivity vendors and manage SLAs.
• Serve as escalation point for complex field technical issues and support field engineers.
• Ensure field systems log telemetry and asset data for QA and compliance.
