MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Operations Supervisor to schedule and dispatch technicians, coordinate field service functions, and keep daily field activities running smoothly.

The role serves as the first line of support for customers and field personnel, emphasizing safe, efficient work practices and timely communication. The ideal candidate will lead technicians, oversee day-to-day field operations, manage work orders, and monitor progress to meet time and cost

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of construction/power equipment service and repair experience.
• Basic understanding of work-order, inventory, or ERP software (e.g., DBS, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, motivates and leads technicians.
• Oversee day-to-day field service operations with safe, efficient results.
• Dispatch and schedule field technicians for emergencies or priority jobs.
• Coordinate daily field functions to meet time and cost goals.
• Review safety reports and reinforce company safety rules.
• Open work orders, verify labor/parts entries, address invoicing questions.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of equipment as needed.
• Answer phones, route inquiries, and provide status updates.
• Coordinate parts pulls and approve technician timecards for payroll.
• Monitor progress, flag delays, and inform Service Manager.
• Maintain tidy work areas and support warranty paperwork.
• Improve processes to increase satisfaction, efficiency, profitability and productivity.
