Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew at site in Cranston, RI. The role focuses on equipment operation, driving efficiencies, and timely, accurate documentation.

You will supervise Technicians, enforce safety policies, train staff, manage client relations, and ensure compliance with DOT and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry experience.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month.
• Ability to be on-call for emergency response situations.
• Ability to pull a trailer via pick-up truck preferred.
• Ability to interface with clients and management.
• Ability to manage project related vendors.
• Ability to manage, reconcile, and review all job-related documentation.
• Ability to work in confined spaces for periods of time.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and medical evaluation as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority and follow safe work practices.
• Read work orders and ensure equipment is available and operational.
• Inspect equipment and work area prior to starting jobs.
• Correct deficiencies to prevent accidents or equipment harm.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Complete paperwork including service receipts and submit to management.
• Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes.
• Operate equipment in service line following safety procedures.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce HPC safety policies.
• Instruct and direct crew to meet client requirements and company policies.
• Follow local, state and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT requirements and company guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Assist with site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
