Job summary

Clean Harbors North Amityville, NY is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion.

The role requires travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month, on-call readiness, and hands-on supervision of Technicians I and II.

Qualifications

• Environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry experience.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month.
• Ability to be on-call for emergency response situations.
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority and enforce safe work practices.
• Read work orders, verify equipment is available and operational before starting jobs.
• Inspect equipment and work area prior to job start and address deficiencies.
• Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes.
• Lead crew to meet progress deadlines while maintaining client requirements and company policies.
