Job summary

Clean Harbors in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to direct field service operations, including tank cleaning, decontamination and emergency response. You will manage Field Service Technicians and drivers, coordinate on-call coverage, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in environmental field service operations, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Clean Harbor Field Services.
• 3+ years' experience in environmental field service operations.
• Adaptable to change and ability to streamline project work.
• Knowledge of various types of equipment.
• Proficiency in Windows based applications.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and safe practices.
• Manages large scale field service and emergency response projects as directed.
• Manages Field Service Technicians, Class A and Class B Drivers.
• Acts as on-call coordinator as needed and ensures coverage.
• Inspects Service Center property daily for cleanliness and compliance with laws.
• Directs personnel to complete field service projects and emergency assignments.
• Maintains equipment and inventory and logs inspections and worksheets.
• Creates daily schedules for field service work and spills team.
