Job summary

Crete United seeks a Field Service Supervisor to lead commercial HVAC field technicians from Davenport, IA (relocation to Davenport, IA with up to $10,000 assistance). The role is full-time with 8-hour shifts, OT, and on-call rotation. Pay up to $60/hr DOE.

Responsibilities include scheduling, safety, maintenance programs, and customer communication while ensuring quality and efficiency in service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, HVAC controls, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of safety standards, mechanical codes, and refrigerant handling requirements.
• EPA 608 certification required; Universal certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel between properties and participate in on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and support field service technicians working on commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate daily service calls, technician schedules, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handlers.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for commercial buildings and properties.
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians diagnosing HVAC issues.
• Review service tickets, work orders, repair estimates, and reports for accuracy.
• Monitor labor costs, productivity, and material usage; evaluate department performance.
• Communicate with property managers and customers regarding service needs and repairs.
• Coordinate parts and equipment to complete service efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Train and mentor technicians; identify efficiency improvements.
