Crete United is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead our HVAC field team in the Davenport, IA area. This full-time role includes coordinating service calls, scheduling technicians, and ensuring safe, high-quality work on commercial HVAC systems.

Relocation assistance up to 10,000 is offered for the right candidate; compensation is up to $60 per hour DOE, with overtime and on-call rotations. The position emphasizes leadership, OSHA-compliant practices, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required; Universal certification preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Travel between commercial properties and participate in on-call support as needed.

Responsabilités

• Supervise field service technicians on commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate daily service calls and technician schedules.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of HVAC equipment including rooftops, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and controls.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion of work.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for commercial buildings.
• Provide technical support and review service tickets and reports.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and department performance.
• Communicate with property managers and customers regarding service needs.
• Coordinate parts and equipment to complete service work efficiently.
• Train and mentor technicians and assist with after-hours emergencies.

Position Overview

• Job Title: Field Service Supervisor

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• -Supervise, lead, and support field service technicians working on commercial HVAC systems.
• -Coordinate daily service calls, technician schedules, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and customer requests.
• -Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and controls.
• -Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to company quality standards.
• -Manage preventive maintenance programs for commercial buildings and properties.
• -Provide technical support and guidance to technicians diagnosing complex HVAC issues.
• -Review service tickets, work orders, repair estimates, and technician reports for accuracy.
• -Monitor labor costs, productivity, material usage, and service department performance.
• -Communicate with property managers, building engineers, and commercial customers regarding service needs and repairs.
• -Coordinate parts, materials, and equipment to complete service work efficiently.
• -Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, applicable codes, and company safety policies.
• -Train and mentor technicians while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
• -Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce callbacks, and grow service agreements.-
• -Assist with after-hours emergency service coordination as needed.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• -High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical training preferred.
• -Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• -Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• -Experience with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, HVAC controls, and building automation systems.
• -Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• -Knowledge of safety standards, mechanical codes, and refrigerant handling requirements.
• -EPA Section 608 certification required for applicable refrigerant work; Universal certification preferred.
• -Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• -Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• -Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain positive customer relationships.
• -Proficiency with service management software, electronic work orders, and scheduling tools.
• -Ability to travel between commercial properties and participate in on-call support as needed.
