Job summary

Crete United in Davenport, IA is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead daily field service operations for commercial HVAC systems. This full-time role offers on-site work, overtime, and a focus on safety and uptime.

You'll mentor technicians, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality service, from diagnostics to installations. EPA Universal certification and IA license are required, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

Position Overview
Job Title: Field Service Supervisor
Location: Davenport, IA
Schedule: Full-Time | 8-hour shifts | Overtime Available | On-call Rotation
Pay Range: up to $60 per hour (DOE)

Job duties:

Lead, coordinate, and support daily field service operations for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to service technicians on complex repairs and equipment issues.

Oversee service calls, preventive maintenance, equipment installations, and warranty work to ensure quality and timely completion.

Coordinate technician schedules, workload assignments, and service priorities to meet customer needs.

Monitor job progress, service quality, labor efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Assist with diagnosing complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, VRF, and VAV systems.

Communicate with customers, project managers, and internal teams to resolve service issues and maintain strong customer relationships.

Mentor and develop technicians through on-the-job training, technical guidance, and performance feedback.

Ensure accurate service documentation, work orders, equipment records, and reporting.

Help identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall department performance.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience, including experience providing technical leadership or mentoring technicians.

EPA Universal Certification.

Iowa HVAC License, or the ability to obtain one within the probationary period.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to pass a drug screening.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to lead field personnel while maintaining a hands-on approach to technical problem-solving.

Preferred:

Previous experience as a Field Service Supervisor, Lead HVAC Technician, or Senior Service Technician.

Experience supporting educational, commercial, or industrial facilities. ...

Familiarity with chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, burners, RTUs, VRF, and VAV systems.

OSHA 10 certification or higher.

OEM certifications from manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, Daikin, or similar.

Experience coordinating technician schedules, reviewing service reports, and improving field service performance. ...
