Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas, is seeking a Field Service Technician - Supervisor to mentor mechanics, lead daily aircraft workload, and ensure adherence to Safran processes. You will direct crew, assign tasks, and participate in standup meetings and project status reports.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, about 6 years of aerospace field service experience, and strong mechanical/technical skills with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 6 years of Technical Field Service or aerospace industry experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Safran passenger seating preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with clear reporting.
• Hand and power tools mechanical ability.
• Experience reading electrical drawings, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins.
• Expert in reworking seat types or specialist area (desirable).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Mentor Mechanics on technical skills, best practices and Safran processes.
• Get daily Airframer non-conformity and production reports.
• Direct crew and set daily tasks priority; assign jobs to mechanics; lead standup and status meetings; generate reports.
• Create emergent removal paperwork to install/replace parts at the Airframer.
• Report Quality issues and analyze with Mechanics.
• Add QA issues to tracking documents or systems.
• Verify team timesheets for accuracy before submission to Manager.
• Manage performance, behavior, and training needs of the team.
• Seek Operational Excellence and continuous improvement.
• Weekly review Airframer Production Reports and update milestones.
