Job Title: Field Service Supervisor at KOCH Finishing Systems

Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Supervisor specializing in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of automated paint finishing systems. We seek a skilled and motivated individual passionate about delivering high-quality service to clients across various industries. This role involves extensive travel and hands-on project management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the installation, start-up, and commissioning of automated paint finishing systems at customer sites.
2. Lead a team of technicians to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop project schedules and deliverables.
4. Provide on-site training and technical support during system integration and optimization.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment performance.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including reports and logs.
7. Follow safety protocols and industry regulations on job sites.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and product design.
9. Travel extensively to customer locations, staying on-site for extended periods.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field (preferred).
2. At least 5 years of experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of industrial equipment, especially automated systems.
3. Proven leadership skills to motivate and mentor technicians.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods, including weekends.
7. Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
8. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
9. Familiarity with PLC programming, robotics, and industrial automation is a plus.
