Position Summary

The Route Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising, leading, and supporting a team of Route Service Representatives to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction, maximizing invoicing accuracy, and promoting branch growth in alignment with Taylor Linen Services’ standards.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Company-Wide Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily route operations and logistics
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate delivery and returns
  • Review and approve invoicing before routes depart
  • Monitor account receivables and support collection efforts
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly (within 24 hours when possible)
  • Conduct load verifications and ensure route accuracy
  • Ensure all team members maintain safe driving records and practices
  • Utilize and train others on Alliant software and handheld devices
  • Support company growth through strong client relationships and retention
  • Take ownership of additional duties that support the team or company goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Clean driving record with DOT compliance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows programs
  • Working knowledge of the Alliant routing and invoicing system
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
