Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc. seeks a Field Service / Start-Up Engineer with strong mechanical aptitude to support installation, maintenance, repair, and start-up of semiconductor processing equipment at customer sites.

You will perform on-site service, troubleshooting, and upgrades while coordinating with customers and team members. Travel nationwide is required, and candidates must stay current with tools and procedures through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Technology, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, installing, or troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Install and replace equipment parts and perform upgrades/modifications.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Coordinate with customers, peers, and supervisors to ensure efficient equipment operation.
• Train customer technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, tools, vehicles, and company property.
• Stay current on equipment, tools, procedures, and technical documentation through ongoing training.
• Maintain professional standards while working at customer sites.
