Job summary

Interstate Power Systems is looking for experienced Field Power Generation Technicians for various locations across Nebraska and Iowa. This role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel-driven generators, offering competitive wages and a dynamic work environment.

You will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues and ensuring efficient operations, adhering to safety standards while working in diverse field conditions.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with power generation systems and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial power generation sets.
• Experience with diesel and natural gas engines and electrical switchgear.
• Physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all makers of generators.
• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on generators at customer sites.
• Diagnose, repair, and modify components of generators and switchgear.

Skills

Experience with power generation products
