Job summary

Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc. in East Windsor, CT, is seeking an immediate temporary-to-permanent Service Coordinator to manage the service technician team at a local branch.

You will plan, coordinate, and direct field activities, schedule time, dispatch technicians, and ensure timely communication with customers. You will enter data in CMMS and timekeeping systems, generate service orders, coordinate parts, and help control costs while delivering high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience in service operations preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage fluctuating workload to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CMMS and ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in service dispatch or scheduling preferred.
• Basic accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage service technicians' time and resources.
• Dispatch technicians and communicate with customers.
• Enter time and service data into CMMS and timeclock systems.
• Generate and manage service orders in CMMS.
• Coordinate training for apprentices and technicians.
• Prepare monthly and weekly execution plans with supervision.
• Coordinate parts and material requirements.
• Issue purchase orders and post material costs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns.
• Enter field data into CMMS and ensure paperwork is submitted.
• Track operational metrics and ensure productivity.
• Bill customers using CMMS and ERP data.
